We offer several unique tasting experiences at Velo Vino. We also invite you to visit us for a glass of wine, a delicious cheese plate or just to browse our wide selection of merchandise. Our outdoor garden patio is a fantastic place to enjoy a bottle of wine and a picnic lunch.

The Passo Gavia

Named for one of Gary's favorite passes in Italy, the Passo Gavia includes a selection of any four of our current release wines. This tasting can be enjoyed at our tasting bar, at a more private tasting table or on our garden patio.

$15 (waived with the purchase of 2 or more bottles of wine), no appointment necessary.

Le Maillot Jaune (The Yellow Jersey)

The Yellow Jersey is the ultimate symbol of cycling excellence. Experience the pinnacle of wine tasting at Velo Vino with this tasting that includes all of our current release wines, a sampling of our specialty food products, an espresso drink and a souvenir Velo Vino espresso/wine glass.

$25, no appointment necessary.

Rifugio Food & Wine Pairing

Inspired by cycling adventures through Europe, the Rifugio tasting is named for the mountain huts often located at the top of Europe's greatest passes. A Rifugio is a place to enjoy a good meal and great wine after a long day of cycling. Clif Family Winery's Rifugio tasting includes a selection of five Clif Family Wines paired with our Gary & Kit's Napa Valley specialty food products and a selection of three cheeses.

VIP Tasting with Farm & Vineyard Tour

We offer guided tours of our vineyard and farm located 20 minutes from downtown St. Helena. The tour starts with an espresso drink at our Velo Vino tasting room. We then head to our organic farm and vineyard for a tour where you will explore our estate vineyards, olive orchard, vegetable gardens and fruit orchard. We then head back to Velo Vino for our signature Le Maillot Jaune tasting of Clif Family Wines paired with our Gary & Kit's Napa Valley specialty foods.

Maximum of 12 guests.
Tours offered May through October.
Allow 3 hours for tasting and tour.
